If you’re interested in an Alder Lake-based system, there is the TUF Gaming F15 and F17. Like its predecessors, the F15 features a 15.6-inch Full HD panel, along with a 144Hz refresh rate, while the F17’s display is the same in all but its larger 17.3-inch display. In regards to their GPU, the F15 comes in SKUs ranging from an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 4GB 95W to an RTX 3060 140W. For the F17, the unit will only ship out with an RTX 3060 SKU. For RAM, the F15 will only come with 8GB DDR5-4800 RAM, although a vacant memory slots means that you can upgrade it to 16GB dual-channel at a later date. For the F17, the SKU ASUS is bringing in will ship out with 16GB DDR5-4800 RAM by default. Storage-wise, both the F15 and F17 will come with a 512GB of NVMe Gen3 SSD, with a secondary slot for storage expansion. As for the built-in battery, the F15 comes fitted with either 56WHr or 90WHr battery, depending on SKU, while the F17 will only come with the latter. Regardless of the configuration on the F15 and F17, both models come fitted with a 12th generation Intel Core i7-12700H CPU that features up to 14-cores (six P-Cores, eight E-Cores), 20-threads. Pricing for the TUF Gaming F-Series starts from RM5299 for the F15, while the F17 will retail for RM6699. On that note, the TUF Gaming F15 SKUs will be available starting March this year, while the F17 model will only be hitting the shelves starting April onwards. Moving on, for those that want an AMD-powered machine, there’s the TUF Gaming A-series. Like the F-Series, there’s an A15 and A17 units. Both the A15 and A17 sport AMD’s latest Ryzen 7 6800H mobile CPU, which features 8-cores, 16-threads, and is based on TSMC’s 6nm process node. For its GPU, consumers have a choice from an RTX 3050 to an RTX 3060. However, the A17 will only be available in an RTX 3050 configuration. In terms of RAM, it varies between 8GB and 16GB of DDR5-4800 RAM. As for the displays, all SKUs of the A-Series are limited to just Full HD resolution, both at 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch. However, for the top-tier SKU of the A15 series, the display’s refresh rate is rated for 300Hz, instead of the usual 144Hz. Oh, and that SKU also comes with a full 1TB of NVMe Gen3 SSD storage. The TUF Gaming A15 and A17 will be available for purchase starting March this year. Pricing starts from RM4299 for the A15, while the A17 retails for RM5199.
