Fast forward to last week, an early version of the browser made its way to the internet. Despite being an early build, the new browser apparently “feels very polished” according to the long-time Microsoft-focused editor for The Verge, Tom Warren.
He has pointed out several interesting features on the browser including the ability to import favorites, passwords, and history from either Chrome or Edge. The Chromium-based Edge also able to support Chrome extensions directly from Google’s online store as well as Edge’s Read Aloud feature. Tom has also noted that the browser is rather speedy to use and could take over the role of Chrome on Windows as the preferred internet browser for many users out there.
