Not only that, but both Lenovo and Microsoft will be offering lifetime access to the entire palette of Microsoft’s Office Suite. That includes access to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive. To be clear, the Microsoft Office Suite being offered here isn’t Office 365. Unlike Office 365, you don’t need to pay a subscription fee – monthly or annually – in order to access the applications for the Home and Student 209 suites. Of course, the downside is you don’t get the latest updates and improvements with the stand-alone suites.
Moving on, the IdeaPad devices that will be receiving the pre-installed version of Office Home and Student 2019 suites include the IdeaPad C340, S340, S540, and L340, all of which are notebooks. Additionally, Lenovo will also be extending the new offer to its IdeaCentre A340 All-in-One (AIO) desktop PC. Specs-wise, all the IdeaPad notebooks eligible for the pre-installation run on Intel’s 8th generation CPUs, ranging from the Core i5-9300H to the Core i7-8665U, and all of them are available in sizes of 15.6-inches.
The Lenovo IdeaPad C340, S340, S540,and L340 are already available for purchase online and at all authorised resellers, starting from an SRP of RM1799. The IdeaCentre A340 AIO is also available through the same channels at a starting retail price of Rm2199.
